I received an email from a friend of mine today who was telling me about how difficult she found it, to try and explain the ways in which she was trying to recover, and how much of an ordeal it was for her.

I have found that it's very difficult for people 'looking in' to really understand what ME/CFS sufferers go through. Indeed it took quite a while for the people around me to get used to it - I mean sometimes you just don't look 'ill' yet you feel so rotten inside. It is indeed, an invisible illness, in more ways than one.
