holosync meditation program - thoughts on the free demo CD

I recently came across a cool meditation program that uses technology on an audio CD that enables you to reach a profound state of relaxation when you listen to it on headphones.

I know, from extensive research, that's it's important to keep stress levels down as stress can increase the severity of ME/CFS symptoms. It can also fuel it and keep it going.

For me, that tired-yet-wired feeling (that many ME/CFS sufferers get) was something that definitely was one of the first things to get rid of. It was annoying because it was such a nerve-jangling, heightened state of constant tension, that just never seemed to ease up. I could tell that just that in itself was sapping my energy like no tomorrow.

So anyway back to this meditation program. They are giving away free demo CDs so I sent off for one and received it today. I'm listening to it right now.

The founder of the program talks over the special audio for the first part, and then you get a bit of time just listening to the audio on its own. I must admit, strangely, that tense feeling that I've tried so hard to ease, seems to be melting away. I often find it hard to even make my leg muscles feel relaxed, and for some reason this audio is helping to do that.

I wonder what the sound technology is, that they put beneath the sounds of gentle rainfall and bells? Whatever it is, I guess it works. Maybe that's why it's so expensive...

I think this is going to be on my list of 'things to get'. It's not cheap so it's something I'll have to save up for. But from taking a look at the video testimonials on the site, it certainly looks like it could benefit me from a health viewpoint, as well as a productive and creative one.

You can get the free demo CD here...
