'Tis The Season...

'Tis the season to be jolly. Fa la la la laaaaa, la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Ick. I've just had a mince pie smoothered in waaaay too much brandy sauce and now feel positively sick. Why is it that we eat stupid amounts of food that we know will only make us feel queezy during the festive season? 'Tis a mystery!

The gift wrapping is coming along slowly. I can't believe it's Christmas in a week! Where does the time go?

And how exhausting is putting up a Christmas tree when you have ME/CFS???? I put a garland of tinsel up yesterday and that was it, I was pooped! Needless to say that the dressing of the Christmas tree in our house is being done v-e-r-y slowly. I've just been doing a little bit every day (I have no other choice!)

I'm sleeping so much this month it's unbelievable. At the moment I'm managing to stay up for about 6 hours for every 24 hours. But interestingly, when I am up, apart from feeling pooped, I don't feel too ill, so I can't complain.

Can't wait til Christmas day (what a kid I am!) as I love to see my family's faces when they open their presents - priceless.

I'm off to find some rennies...
