laptops - how healthy are they?

I developed a real sensitivity to electricity when I developed PVFS/ME/CFS.

For me, it doesn't hurt me like a 'jolt' or anything - it's not like getting an electric shock. Moreover, it gives me a dull ache, like I'm being 'radiated'. And it makes me shake, feel incredibly dizzy and weak.

In fact, whenever I use the laptop I cannot place it on my lap because I can feel my legs feeling almost - well, 'radiated'! Like they're slowly being microwaved or something. And they ache/hurt for quite a while after I take the laptop off my legs.

In fact, if I use the latop even and place it close by (i.e. sit at a table with it) - even if it's say, 10 inches away from my legs, I'll still feel it. Incredible. Same with my hands.

But I'm presuming it's because there's so much electromagnetic radiation coming from that one laptop.

With desktops its slightly dispersed isn't it?

I mean, you have the VDU, and that is separate to the main computer terminal - and both units are not as close to you as a laptop would be on your lap.

Still it makes me wonder what damage that laptop does whenever I do place it on my lap.

On another note.... arghhhhhhh!

This sore throat driving me crazy!

When I got back from France on Wednesday, I was feeling horrid. But I thought it was just that typical 'glandular, fluey feeling' you get when you're having a flare (as a PVFS/ME/CFS sufferer).

Yesterday though I just started feeling worse and worse, and now I've got a killer sore throat and feel terrible. Nothing strange there as this often happens, but it seems that another relative of mine is experiencing the same kind of symptoms, so maybe I've got a bug?

Hmmmmm - either way, I am in urgent need of litres of fresh juice! ;)

Anyway, I should go take some meds and rest...
